Seniors on the Move: A Civic Celebration & First Amendment Gathering Bright Leaf Senior Resources respectfully submits this event under the category of First Amendment activity, in alignment with constitutional protections for peaceful assembly and petition. This event is a nonpartisan, public gathering designed to:

Celebrate the contributions of Colorado’s seniors and veterans

Raise awareness of ongoing systemic needs in housing, health, and accessibility

Advocate for increased local and state support of aging-in-place initiatives

Promote civic engagement and wellness through biking and walking activities
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 33-1358618), Bright Leaf provides free home repairs, food support, and mobility aid to low-income and disabled older adults and veterans. We are actively engaging with elected officials and community partners to request stronger policy and financial support for underserved seniors across Colorado.
This gathering at Washington Park is not just a ride — it is a peaceful assembly of voices united for visibility, dignity, and community investment in aging.
