We are here for our senior community and the most vulnerable among us—those who have given so much and now deserve care, compassion, and stability. Whether it’s repairing a home, delivering groceries, or simply offering hope, Bright Leaf Seniors stands beside Colorado’s aging population to ensure no one is left behind.

The Grand Care Alliance
Supporting Colorado’s Seniors Raising the Next Generation
Across Colorado, thousands of seniors have stepped up to raise their grandchildren — often unexpectedly, and often without the financial or emotional support they need. The Grand Care Alliance was created to stand beside these incredible caregivers and ensure that no grandfamily has to navigate this journey alone.
What We Provide
Through this program, we help support seniors raising grandchildren by offering:
-
Tuition Assistance – Helping cover school-related costs so children can learn, grow, and thrive.
-
Recreational & Activity Fees – Ensuring kids can participate in sports, clubs, arts, and community programs without financial barriers.
-
Family Support & Counseling – Through our trusted partners, families receive guidance, emotional support, and resources tailored to the unique challenges grandfamilies face.
Why We Need You in 2026
As we move into 2026, the need for this program continues to grow — and so does our commitment. To fully launch and sustain the Grand Care Alliance statewide, we need your help. Your support allows us to expand services, reach more families, and provide stability for seniors who have taken on the responsibility of raising the next generation.
Together, we can ensure that Colorado’s grandfamilies have the resources, dignity, and support they deserve.

Bright Leaf Seniors has dedicated volunteers who deliver food baskets directly to low-income and disabled seniors who lack transportation and cannot access traditional food pantries. This service ensures that vulnerable older adults receive the nutrition and support they need, right at their doorstep — no matter where they live.
Please Stay Warm — Important Tips & Support for Our Seniors
As temperatures drop dangerously low this weekend, we wanted to reach out with a simple message from all of us at Bright Leaf Seniors: please stay warm and take care of yourselves. This cold spell has been especially hard on older adults across Colorado, and we want to make sure every senior in our community feels supported, safe, and seen.
Over the past few days, we’ve received a large increase in requests for help — everything from broken furnaces to homes struggling to keep heat in. Our volunteers are already out delivering free blankets and winter coats to seniors who need them, and we’re doing everything we can to respond quickly.
💛 If you are experiencing problems with your furnace, please reach out right away. We have volunteer licensed HVAC professionals who can come take a look at no cost. No one should be left in the cold.
To help everyone stay warm inside their homes, here are a few simple tips:
🟠 Keep interior doors closed to trap heat in the rooms you use most. 🟠 Layer clothing and blankets, even indoors — it makes a big difference. 🟠 Use draft stoppers or rolled towels at the base of doors to keep cold air out. 🟠 Open curtains during the day to let sunlight warm your home, then close them tightly at night. 🟠 Avoid using ovens or stoves for heat, as this can be dangerous. 🟠 Check on neighbors, especially older adults who may be hesitant to ask for help.
If you or someone you know needs assistance — whether it’s heating issues, warm clothing, or basic support — please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here for you, and we will do everything we can to help keep our seniors safe through this cold weather.
Thank you for being part of a community that looks out for one another. Together, we can make sure no senior faces this cold alone.
Warmly, Bright Leaf Seniors Supporting Colorado’s Older Adults with Care, Dignity, and Community
